First, pet profiles.

I made a board 6 months ago, and since then I opened a shop, got comissions, happy customers and, as time passed, more and more remarks that I should raise my prices.

To give you an idea of the current prices, this one would currrently cost 1mil, this one 6mil, and this one 8mil.

So do you think it's fair or underpaid ? (I won't lower the price so don't say it's overpaid ^^)

The link to my shop is in my signature, if you want to see more examples (I'm not advertising, slots are full ^^).

My issue is that I don't have much references of prices for this kind of pet profiles (I know charges 20+mil for book-like profiles, but it's Pinto so I can't refer to that at all XD). It would be ridiculous to ask for that much, but on another hand I didn't move much from my opening prices. There must be a fair middle but I don't know where it is. So I need your help !

Another question is : would anybody be willing to buy this kind of profile with USD ? (even for 1$)

Then, user profiles.

I don't make these as much as pet profiles, but I'm thinking of opening a mini-shop, because from time to time it's refreshing. They would be quite simple and only made from photos I take (like these). It is quite limitating so I'm wondering if there would be some interest, and how much I should price them.

I'm really sorry for pinging you and not opening slots, but you would be the first concerned by a price change. I promise next ping will be for regular slots opening !

I'll admit that I have no idea how much work goes into these but I think you could easily charge more. I think I'd still think I was getting a pretty good deal if you charged twice as much.

I'm currently saving for something in RL so I'm trying not to spend any money online right now, but normally I'd consider paying USD for a complicated profile.

You're totally underpaid. I've drooled over your profiles more than once.. LOL. Specially the complicated ones. I'd think between 10-15mil easy for the heavily complicated ones. Atleast, that's what I'd pay. I'd assume they require a lot of work, too. 1mil is very under priced, though. Pet profile prices: Simple - 5m Medium - 8m Complicated- 10-15

I don't buy profiles that often, so it maybe better to judge between others. But profiles take a lot of work, too. And shouldn't be under priced. I would also consider paying USD for the complicated ones. I'm unsure how much since normally I pay 1$-100csc-3m for art.

Tbh, I think your work is on the deep end of amazing and I'd definitely be willing to pay USD for them. :) I'm not very familiar with art pricing here, but I'd say that personally I'd be willing to shell out at least 5 USD plus a healthy sP bribe for your work. ;)

I've never been lucky enough to snag a spot of yours, but I really think that you are getting underpaid. Especially for your complex profiles. I would say: Simple: 4-5 million Medium: 7-8 million Complex: 10-15 million

As far as USD go. I would DEFINITELY pay USD for a profile of yours.

That last one looks like a lot of work, I'd definitely say you could charge more. It all depends on how much time and effort you put into it, what you like doing and what you don't like doing as much, and demand. You can raise it just a little bit at first and see how many people are still buying, and if you still have the same amount of people grabbing slots, you can re-evaluate.

Check out all the other profile-makers' boards again and look at their base starting prices. Most are above 1 mil, so consider raising your base and then consider what kind of add-ons you can do and how much time/work each add-on adds. Think of pricing that way.

And opening up a USD slot can't hurt! Personally, I wouldn't buy them with USD, but I don't buy anything on site with USD, so it's not just you. ;) Usually you would figure out the sP prices first, then think about what the equivalent would be in USD based on CSC, but sometimes when you're first trying USD slots, you put the USD a little lower than the equivalent, just to start.

As for user profiles, if you're up for it, there are always people looking for lower-priced simple profiles. 1 mil seems to be pretty standard, taking a quick look at it now.

Thank you for your answers ! The time I spend depends a lot. For collage layouts like this one it's obvioulsy longer. Then for the coding, the books and the complex ones are the most difficult to make. Each profile is different so each time I have a new approach for the coding, so it takes time. I think I spent 20 hours or so on the latest coding-only profile I made, but I did other things at the same time so it's certainly less in reality. I say it takes me days because I can't spend more than 2-3 hours a day working on a profile during the week, so it adds up quickly. Even on the week-end, it happens regularly that I spend 2 afternoons on a profile.

Yes you did, but I lack self-confidence so much, it's terrible XD

Umm, I would definitely say that you can charge USD. I know because I would totally pay USD for another one of your profiles. Especially if it means I can jump the waitlist of people waiting to get profiles from you LOL

raise those prices girl, you deserve it!
