My battle pet is Tilley

Her stats are:

Level: 184

Strength: 179 180 190

Defense: 184 190

Speed: 159 170 189

Health: 224

HP: 224/224

Intelligence: 443 474

She has 7,762 EXP Points and is currently Tier 3.

I'd like to know what stats to train and what to spend her EXP on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I've been 'winging' it up until now.

: At this point you should train all the stats evenly because you can still outspeed opponents with investment (more speed = less chance you'll be crit'd) Strength and health are most useful, though, so you should put exp points into those.

It's important to have a good balance of stats early on, keeping them as even as possible would be ideal. Health stats cost more EXP, but take the same amount of time to train, so you should never be spending EXP points on health until you have at least 1000 - 1500 of each stat. Spending what you have on strength, defense and speed would be wise.

Also a note: you should keep your level stat as low as you can. Level literally has no impact on battles. The only reason you need level is to train the other stats (you can train them 2.5x your current level). Increasing level makes the gym more expensive and when you pass milestones like 150 / 250 / 350 level makes it take longer. You won't need to train it or spend EXP on it until you have 460 of each of the other stats.

Thanks for the advice.

For now, it sounds like I should just keep training the stats to keep them even and the level will take care of itself. From the looks of things, Strength and Speed should be my first priority so off to the training camp we go. I'll keep my EXP points in the bag until I need them.

One thing to keep in mind is that higher tiers have higher EXP costs. So in tier 3 strength/defense/speed will cost 375, but in tier 4 they'll cost 500, etc. So you should try to make sure that you use up your EXP before you go up in tier.

Thanks for the info :)

If I'm reading it correctly, I need a combined total for my strength, defense, speed and health of at least 1200 to get to the next tier. I've got 748 so I've a way to go yet but I'll keep an eye on those stats and figure out what to do with my EXP points when I get closer.
