I absolutely HAVE to brag about this one.

When I joined Subeta seven years ago, I wanted my very first pet on the site to be named Chili. I really wanted to make a tribute for her. But of course, the name was already taken. Later, I was unaware that the name had cleared and it was taken again. I was disappointed, but I didn't give up hope. It cleared once, so perhaps it would clear again. While searching for the name, I noticed that the name would clear in about seven months. I got my hopes up, needless to say. Those seven months passed, the name became available, and I acted on that opportunity immediately! I cannot express how happy I was when I became Chili's new owner.

She had not been in the queue for that long, actually. Chili's win is definitely the most important one for me. Because of that, I want to give a few shoutouts. made Chili's amazing overlay. I'm easy to please, but I really wanted this pet's overlay to be perfect. And gosh dang it, you nailed her overlay. It is beautiful. And did an excellent job on the profile! It is elegant and better than I could have expected it to be!

Also, thank you for the kind comments on the news feed. You're all so awesome :)

Congratulations on the win! c: I have to admit I usually skim over the pet spotlights, but this thread made me go check out your pet and I'm glad I did. It's a very sweet story. I actually teared up a little reading it. ^_^;

And thank YOU so much for her profile. Hunting for all of those flowers back during Vensali was definitely worth it xD And yes, I definitely had to play the waiting game for her name. But hey, at least it did clear. And sorry if you got pinged multiple times. It wasn't going through at first so I tried fixing it.

Yea I know what you mean. I check out some pets but skim over others. I totally teared up writing the story since I got the name only a few months after she passed away. Thank you, I'm glad that you like it!!
