Hi. I'm Hal. I'm just going to go by the suggested thingy on the welcome to subeta and welcome board rules thing.

I found out about about Subeta from my sister, . (I hope that link works, lol) I'm not much into pet sites, but she said this site was pretty lax about topics of discussion and what you can write about so I thought I'd give it a shot? I'm 27 years old and work at a factory as a shift supervisor. If you see honey bear bottles, odds are I probably helped make those at some point in time, hehe. ;) I love to play games. Soul Calibur, Assassin's Creed, Rock Band, etc. I also enjoy listening to metal bands and rap music. A few of my favorite artists are Tech N9ne, Ces Kru, Brotha Lynch Hung, Cannibal Corpse, Dethklok, and the odd ones out Daft Punk and Lindsey Stirling. I sometimes write poetry when I'm upset. I'm thinking of making trying to come up with what my sister calls an 'OC' (Original character?) and test my lack of creativity and see how much I fail. I also enjoy anime like Naruto, DBZ (and abridged!), Bleach, and Cowboy Bebop.

I'm not sure what I think of Subeta so far..... have tried posting in the shoutbox and asked some question, but I get ignored. I'm guessing because nobody wants to bother helping another newbie or something, or maybe they just don't like me? :( IDK. Oh well. I think that's about it for the about me stuff!

I miss watching Cowboy Bebop. =( I wish it hadn't been as short as it was. Really was a terrific show.

Dont worry about the ShoutBox. They ignore everyone unless you're part of their drama. I've tried and got the same results.

Welcome to Subeta! I hope you enjoy it here. There's so much you can do. Creating OC's can be fun. I have my own named Amara. People really get into it here. Many base their pets off of their OC's and create really detailed stories.

I quite like Daft Punk and Lindsey Stirling. I don't know the other artists, lol.

Sweet Cheez-Its! I'm assuming your sister is a total Mass Effect fan? I'm a total Mass Effect fan! (In fact, my dream HA is inspired by Jack.) And, related: I love your username.

Dethklok is the best. I love Metalocalypse. I also have always enjoyed writing/role-playing/making characters so if you're interested in that, I could definitely be a solid support if you'd like. Which would really just consist of me rooting you on from the sidelines like, "WOW, THAT'S PERFECT, HOW ARE YOU SO TALENTED?" (Here's a link to a character form that might help you get started or start to learn about making OCs) (edit: and oh, there's a character development forum here on subeta. It's not very active, but you might look around to your benefit?)

Anime is a favorite topic of mine recently. I watched all of Attack on Titan and I'm currently watching Full Metal Alchemist. My brother is a fan of Cowboy Bebop and I would like to watch that as soon as I finish with FMA. Unfortunately I tend to have a one-track mind... I can't watch more than one show at a time. I'd also like to watch Naruto, Bleach, and Death Note, just because I've heard such good things about them.

Ah, the Shoutbox. Honestly, I have always avoided it. There are many cool people there, but it's really difficult to sort of 'weasel into' the conversation after they've been talking to each other for a while. Your best bet would definitely be the forums -- there are plenty of very friendly people around here. I try my best to make everyone feel welcome!

After a mostly-inactive eight months, I'm still kind of a newbie - but I can try to answer (or at least find the answer to) any questions you might have.
