So myself and other members of a ping group I belong to have been getting extremely delayed group pings. It has been to this specific topic and today is not the first time it has happened. Someone will ping the group, but for some reason, we won't get the ping until at least 20 minutes after the posted wrote the ping.

my ping from buysellcw didnt show up for me until 5min or so had passed so i dunno if its so specific :v

I'm wondering if it's certain sections that are the issue? I have no problem when I'm group-pinged to a thread in the Chit-Chat section or the Restock section.

It's on purpose, but it's not supposed to take almost an hour for a TSRestock ping to come through. I don't know if something was tweaked that shouldn't have been (or that broke something else) but that's pretty ridiculous. I'd rather have multiple pings for things and actually be able to catch a TS restock (or what have you).

None of my other pings usually take quite that long, so I wonder if it's got to do with the size of the group? But I pinged buysellcw earlier and it only took a minute or two, like normal.

[edit] There are people saying they got the most recent TSRestock ping and I still haven't. So however this system works, it just isn't plausible for a 3k+ people group apparently :l (Edit again) I never did get that ping last night

I am also experiancing Delayed pings for the following groups: # WS # aspchatter # ASP # tokenshop # lrvt these are imporant as im participating in a roleplay, and my Cult groups and Token shop is always important!

Yep, the other day I got the ping for the main tokenshop group 48 minutes after it was sent out. Really?

Unfortunately this thread will probably just be closed and we'll all be redirected to the forum issues thread and this particular problem will not be addressed any further. 😔

The group that I am part of is pinged for many different things, not just token shop restocks. When someone pings the group in our random chatting thread, birthday thread, or somewhere else, the ping shows up almost instantaneously. It's only to our token shop restock thread that it takes forever... The one thread that the ping needs to be time-sensitive. It's frustrating, to say the least, especially since I've missed every restock because of it.

I'm not getting any of MY pings at all. The pings I send off, they don't get posted in the event sidebar.
