When I'm in a shop looking at wearables, sometimes (most of the time) I forget what an item actually looks like on an HA. It would be awesome if we could bring the hovering preview feature to items in the shops. Even if all the pricing info was taken out of it, and just leave the preview for wearables, and maybe the description for non-wearables.

I'd like this as long as pricing information was left out. I don't see the harm in having the HA preview available. It can be a pain sometimes going to a search tab -just- to see what it looks like.

It's possible to have hovers that only have the wearable preview. Look at the trunks items in the cash shop: example.

I definitely don't support having rarity or price info in hovers in shops, but just the wearable preview would be nice, if it's not too hard to implement.

I think that's a pretty cool idea if it can be implemented. I would probably browse more main shops if that happened. To find neato wearables I usually browse people's wishlists or shops anyway, so I won't be too butthurt if this ends up being a no go.

I was literally just thinking this while browsing the shops and came to the suggestions forum to see if it'd already been requested! It'd be so incredibly helpful, because there have been items I've passed over because I couldn't see what they looked like and later realised that I very much wanted them once I'd seen them.

I also wasn't sure if making just a preview would be a pain in the butt coding wise, but now that someone already pointed out that its already in place for the costume trunks, I dont think this should be that difficult.

I wonder if this would slow down the loading time for the shops with a lot of wears, but I guess that's less of a concern now that the shop search takes you right to the buy page. I can't really think of any other argument against it!

I don't really see a need for something like this, but if it wouldn't cause lag issues, I don't see a problem.

No thanks , every shop will become the sticker album and the lag and the static stuck hovers and the lag......

While it would be nice to see hover previews, the way hovers tend to 'stick' and cover up other items would be really annoying. Unless that gets fixed I'd hate to see this implemented.

Another problem would be we'd have to have a completely different hover - one without rarity, average price, overal price etc.

Oh god no, imagine the lag, imagine the constant hovers popping up when you are just trying to buy something. And 'what if it doesn't cause lag', such thing doesn't exist on subeta, it probably will cause lag. And lag while restocking is a pain in the ass.

I remember last year's lagtastic lagmonster of a Steamworks Menagerie with all those bazillion sticky hovers. Yikes! Do not support.

Most of my wears I've gotten through questing, I've got 14K Achievement, so for me it's not such a burden to not be able to tell what it looks like vs can I make a profit reselling.

I'm gonna go with a no on this. I love the hover feature everywhere else but it would be an extreme nuisance while restocking. And the lag... Unimaginable. I appreciate the idea and in a perfect world it would be an awesome tool but I don't think it'll work out otherwise.

I'd like it :) My lag problems are always on the CAPTCHA images anyway, and I doubt they're related.

This isn't really a priority for me either and seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth.

It'd be nice but it's not worth the lag it would cause. As for the "we would need a whole separate hover" thing, there's already a preview-only hover used in the Cash Shop.

While I agree its a nice idea, my first thought was "oh no, the lag!"

Most of the time I'm not browser the NPC shops looking for interesting wearables anyway. I'm seeing things on HAs, news posts when stuff first come out, using the "all clothing on Subeta" feature, and Subetalodge. Occasionally I'll even use user shops, but almost never NPC shops.
