I recently unleashed the Forj Matriarch, Rekindled in the Battle Coliseum. I've been able to beat her(?) relatively easily several times, but I sense an impending problem on my way to 70 victories as its stats increase...

Freezing isn't an option, and the opponent seems to only be susceptible to water attacks. I need recommendations on weapons/combos that deal the most damage to I can dispatch Forj Matriarch, Rekindled before it unleashed its Meteor Barrage on me.

I'm working my way up to Tier 8, so I don't want to spend a ton on weapons that will shortly be obsolete. Thank you in advance for any help and/or suggestions!

+ seem to be good constants against Forj. See if you can get a or or both, those are always handy. Having a might be nice too for the blasting and curses/blessings.

Remember to use for the extra damage as well. :)

On top of ' advice I recommend Perilous Whirlpool Scrolls. They deal 10 water icons once per battle (plus blocking all fire is handy). Ideally you would want a Pirate Cutlass instead of the Dragon Soul, but it is expensive unless you can find one to borrow. You can also mod your weapons with Water Baguette Crystals to get that extra bit of damage in.

That would be fantastic! I've now gotten to the point where it takes a little too long to kill it and I'm taking too much damage.
