My jewelry shop that I just opened 8 days ago hasn't gotten any sales yet. Some nice comments, but no sales.

Quote
Pricing
Crocheted Necklaces, Sculpey cellphone charms/zipper pulls, charms without chains:
1000 CSC or 34mil sP
Steampunk jewelry, other Sculpey with chains:
1500 CSC or 51mil sP
(Keep in mind that shipping is included in the prices!)

The ones I charge 1000CSC/34mil for, I've got about $5 in materials/shipping in and the ones I charge 1500CSC/51mil for have about $8-10 in materials/shipping. Then I have to figure in how much my time is worth...the crocheted necklaces take maybe and hour or so to make and the steampunk/sculpey ones take significantly longer.

So I don't know...am I charging too much? They sell easily at my craft shows for these prices. What do you think?

I don't think you're charging too much AND your work is very nice, but I do think Subeta isn't really a place that buys a lot of physical goods. If you really needed the SP, I'd personally try to sell those items locally, buy some game cards (or use paypal) to get some CSC to convert to SP.

Yeah, I'd love to sell them locally, but the only place that I could do that, they charge a certain fee per month that's way more than I could afford. Thanks for the nice comment though. :)

Not sure how old you are or if you are going to school or work, but wear your jewelry when you go places. Even if it's just to the grocery store or something. Show it off when you can, because the more people see it, the more people will be interested. C: It's like free advertizing.

I'm 30, lol. And I do wear it pretty much everywhere and get nice compliments on it. Unfortunately, craft show season is pretty much over and that's the only place I'm able to sell locally.

Have you tried flea markets? One near where I live will let you sell at it twice before you pay a seller's fee from what I remember. Or maybe see about leaving business cards or flyers at places like Starbucks. :3 Either way, I hope it works out for you!
