When the quests were revamped, the NPCs were given "special rewards" to give out. However, I have not received any of these items in a really long time. Maybe they were taken out... or I've heard they were only given out during the WSQ, though I have yet to see any there either. So, maybe add these items to the quest shop?! Maybe? Please? :)

[edit]Apparently there is a topic in the P&B section about Maleria not giving items (not sure if it has been confirmed or not, since I can't view the topic) Even more of a reason to throw the items into the QS.

I think they're only given out during WSQ. But I haven't gotten any special prizes for a very long time either. I've yet to receive any from MQ and it's the wsq this weekend.

I can also chime in that I did not receive anything from Maleria yet either - I think the only bonus items I can remember in recent past is the retired books from Alexander.

Alexander's special items are the Fairytale books (news post) The retired items might just be good prizes :p

Yes those but also the retired books are bonus prizes on the weekend special quests. Either way I got both last time he was the special.

I'm specifically talking about the special items that were added during the revamp. Either way, it sounds like you received them from him. I haven't still, from anyone. Regardless, I think they'd still be better off in the quest shop. They're either too rare to get/not all the NPCs are being cycled through. So my suggestion still stands.

I like having special items stay separate from the Quest Shop. I do believe the not being given out is a glitch, it happened last time with Maleria.

I would love to see the WSQ tweaked to be more fair though.

I wasn't even aware there were special items to be given out, so obviously I haven't gotten any.
