I'm not sure if this has already been discussed, so I apologize if it has.
I think it would be really great to be able to more quickly and easily scan someone's wishlist to see if you have any of the items they want. Like maybe a "Scan Wishlist" or Wishlist Account Search" button to get it all done at one time, so you can see a page with the items from their wishlist that you own.
:)
Why not just CTL+F for "You have this item"? Some people have thousands of items on their WL - I think scanning it or Searching on something that is already laggy and buggy would just break wishlists entirely.
I am for this happening if the recode ever happens and wishlists are re-done completely... But at the moment no.

I actually do like this idea. But moreso to be able to do that for our own wishlists in order delete things we already have. I do CTRL+F "You have this item" and it works well, but it sucks when I have to go to each category, which sometimes has 1000+ items, and having to click the X, then click back into the search and press enter in order to skip down to the next one. It would be nice to see all the items on our wishlists at once and choose to delete them if necessary.
The same thing goes for other people's wishlists. No one wants go to through every category, CTRL+Fing to see what items we have that they want.
Like said, it might be laggy though. I'm in no rush to see something like this implemented since there is a work-around currently, but I still like the idea.
Aside from the fact that some people have massive wishlists and this would probably break the site (considering there are WLs out there where just loading them breaks the site, much less trying to account search every single item on them at the same time), not everyone is actively seeking every item on their WL at a given time. If they were to name four categories they were buying from, and you just account searched their entire WL they would probably get frustrated when you started listing items that weren't in the right categories.
Ctrl+F for "You have this item" works just fine
