Many players cant get retired achievement so i have an idea if can be accept or not at least i give my idea

  1. Give a Loyalty Totem like Loyalty Achievement Totem that user can get it when reach in certain years in Subeta that can be used to get unlock 1 retired achievement

  2. Achievement Retired item can be bought in Cash Shop

  3. in Token Shop maybe?

Just that my idea and thank you so much Best Regards Edwin Kandani

I really not think any of these are fair to the older users that earned the achievement fair and square when they were available.

The majority of retired achievements iirc are tied directly though older plots (1st Infected, Survivor, Person to Solve x Step First) and it would pretty rude of the staff to start giving them out as prizes.

I've only been around here for three years, and while it would be nice to get some of the oldest achievements that are now retired, I have to agree that it just wouldn't be fair to those who earned them fair and square. Like, I loved the time-traveling Masquerade plot from a while back, and I worked hard to participate and earn the achievements, so I'd be pretty irked if a player who just joined yesterday could earn those achievements by doing little to nothing for them.

And the achievement "Enter the Giveaway [RETIRED] Enter the November 2009 Giveaway! 0/1" Taunts me whenever I see it, but I can't actually go back in time, so I just have to accept the fact that I can't get it.

Achievements are awarded for completing specific tasks. Letting players straight up buy them undermines the entire system. 😕

No. Just a general no. You get an achievement for something specific that you achieved on time. Why would you get a retired one? Because you're a new member? You were on a hiatus? Not bothered to do it on time? That's just too bad and it wouldn't be fair otherwise.

What is the point to bother collecting achievement when I can just buy my way into getting them all

NO, Achievements are for effort, and not any effort (because you got argue that csc/tokens/$$ require effort), but effort towards that a specific achievement.

You weren't there: that sucks , you were too lazy: your own fault, you didn't try hard enough: hahaha.

I'm going to echo everyone else on this, recently another site I go on(which most of you know I'm sure) tried something like this with one of their daily things and it made a lot of people very upset. So much, that they had to turn that part of the reward off for the time being. (they claimed it wasn't working right, but I'm not so sure and personally I hope it's permanently off)

There are all sorts of achievements I'd like to have, but I wasn't there/didn't participate/wasn't fast enough/didn't/don't have the items in order to get them.

Sure I'd love to have them, but why should I be able to buy/be loyal long enough to get the same thing that someone else worked their butt off to get when it was around? Doesn't seem fair, at all.

Absolutely not. As much as I would love to get some of the retired achievements, it sucks for me that I wasn't around back when they came out and that's just the way it is. What's the point of even having an achievement system if new users can just buy them? I don't go for achievements to compete with anyone or anything like that, but it still loses the sense of achievement even for yourself if you can just buy them :l

(I posted on the wrong thread before but) I don't think this is necessary because Subeta is just going to continue to make newer achievements and retire the older ones anyway. Plus, not all retired achievements are even obtainable period anymore.

The only thing I'd like to see done with achievements is see them removed from their pages and put into their own category called 'Retired' so I can go look at all the pretty things I didn't get to do.

It wouldn't be fair for me (a relatively new member) to be able to buy achievements from, say, 2009.

I think a retired section for achievements would be nice, so that they are in their own little tab.
