Sorry to have to start you off with some housekeeping - in addition to our site rules, each of our forums have rules stickied to the top to help keep them tidy. One of the rules for Welcomes is that it's not the place to make Friend Seeking threads, as it's not only newbies that are looking for friends! There's a thread in the Chit Chat forums designated for helping users find friends (see below for the link) so I'm going ahead and locking this thread.
