Ok, so Im likely going to sound agitated, because I am. To an extent that Im about to ragequit on using the forum at all. Seriously.

So I never had this issue in the old forums.

If there is now a post limit, itd be nice to know what it is, or have it warn you if your post is too big. INSTEAD of sending the user to a completely random locked forum, losing everything they typed, and not allowing you to go back a page and recollect that text to split in to smaller bits.

Even on my computer with chrome, when this happens. No back button. Usually in chrome as it holds your data, you can do jus that and everything in the type box is there. So not even having it possible there is just...ugh.

The biggest problem with this is rp, Im in wayward squirrel, and we wanted to post our whole teams 6 steps in one post. But it kept redirecting us, we had to somehow work out just how much went in each post. And because you cant double post, youd have to time it right so one goes, then you, then them again to try and get them one after another. But if someone posts between that your screwed and its confusing as shit.

Then, just now I had this huge post reply to help someone with mental health issues in the advice. And boom, a really heartfelt giant post gone.

This is becoming worse than comments where, when you had to copy text before posting because it so often failed to send.

Who even thinks...oh I need to copy this...before posting to a dang forum. And why why why doesnt it warn or something. Fndsifnsjidnfjksnkjdfnjsnosjdfinjsdcnfkjsdnjkdsfjnidvs. That explains my feelings. All of them. Im so mad. It took me a half hour to type this, and now its gone, lost in the space of subeta failure, and I want to help this person but now am defeated and uninterested in being as thorough.

I haven't run into this problem personally. Though if my friends weren't too busy for Subeta lately, I'm sure we would. We usually end up making crazy long posts, and this would be frustrating! >_<

Something needs to be in place to prevent this from happening. Like a counter to let posters know the character limit, and how much of it they've used. Maybe character count can be checked when you try to submit. If you're over the limit, you get a pop-up error message letting you know. Message is not submitted, and you can go back and edit it.

What is the limit anyway?

I'm not in rps or anything and I don't make crazy long posts usually. Sometimes in the advice I will.
