I've taken to occasionally put my pets into the training center from my mobile. I've had a hunch before, not knowing my on hand amount, but verified it today.
If I go back in the browser, it deducts the training fee again. I then used the "Back to Riverside Valley" link, but actually wanted to get back to the training center again. So I backspaced once more, anew landed on the "you pet has been put into ..." for the pet, that had already been put into a session with collecting twice, and it deducted the price a 3rd time. Fortunately today it was one of my 30k pets, not as usual the 90k one...
edit: super, happened again today, but once more with the 90k pet. I didn't have enough sP on hand, went to the bank and got 100k out, put the pet into training. The next one was done as well, so I felt safe backtabbing, thinking I wouldn't have enough money on hand now, so probably would only get an error message for pet - there were events and thus the sP not visible, and even, if not, it is too much hassle to enlarge every single page and search for the relevant part of the page. Anyway, I got the error message for pet , because evidently I had enough on hand for "another" training session for , but after that of course no longer any funds for pet training...
So there go another 150k down the drain within 2 days. And that at a time, where there is no Saggi anymore...

Also wanted to note that I wasn't able to replicate this on my laptop browser. I'll see if it happens on my phone next time if I can remember to check it!

Filing a ticket is obsolete, because I have no idea how much I have lost over the months.
Computer and laptop don't do it (using Firefox on those).
As to the browser on my phone - I have absolutely no idea, it does not show. I have a Galaxy III, if that helps any. I'm fine with computers, but mobiles are a huge mystery to me, which I hardly ever use/have with me, to be honest, sorry.
So I tested this out on my mobile, and when I hit to go back I was prompted with a warning asking if I wanted to resubmit the form. If I don't click on that option and hit back again it takes me out to the main training page - without charging me double.
If I do click to resubmit the form it does recharging me, and landed me on the page saying my pet has been added to the training.
Are you resubmitting the form?
Also, why are you using the backspace anyways? Clicking 'Back' or 'Add an Alert' from the links will take you back to the main training page.
No, I am not getting a warning/message about resubmitting the form.
And I want to go back in my browser, because, unlike here on firefox, I don't have the option to choose to go back to whatever page I like/initially started out on. I'd eventually have hundreds of pages "behind" me.

As I said, I cannot/don't know how to find out, which browser it is.

lol, just noticed a new bug with that mobile browser - a couple of days ago I came home and was surprised to find my main pet was NOT in a session, when I had put her in, while away. As usual I blamed it on my carelessness.
Today I checked my funds - something +500k -, it said "your pet has been put into a session..." I made sure that I pressed "add an alert" (if you don't press back or add an alert, the session does not start, in spite of "your pet has been put into a session"). I was redirected to the training center, pet not in a session, fee deducted.
Back home on my computer, same thing - less money and pet not in a session.
This is annoying and costing a real lot of sP.
The browser can not be closed and then started anew, it will always open with the last page visited.
I was told the browser is the standard android browser, if this makes any sense to you.
When this happens, you should file a ticket - they'll likely be able to refund you. Plus, they can provide further information from the backend to the programmers so it can be resolved faster.
I have made this report to the programmers and asked if they could create another check on that page so this doesn't happen anymore.
