I was searching around the site for names I loved for the Whose Username Do You Love thread, and lo and behold I discovered the name Austria was up for grabs. I flailed a lot and freaked out a little bit and omg.

Austria is one of my favorite anime characters, and since I started watching Hetalia and learning more about Europe, its become one of my favorite places in the world, my dream vacation destination. I also just really love the way the word sounds... I think it sounds very elegant.

This feels really weird... Featherfire is my name just about everywhere else on the web, and it's been my name for about 15 years, but when I saw that I couldn't pass it up! I blew all my csc... but I think it's worth it!

Congrats! :) And most awesome place to live too. It wouldn't be too hard to travel all around the country since it only takes around 8 hours by train to travel from west to east :) .

Thank you! I live on the east coast of the US now, so things are smaller and you can get pretty far in eight hours... but I come from California originally. Eight hours on the long side of the state wouldn't even cover half the distance! And of course I'd also have to go to Germany and Switzerland and Hungary while I was out there...

Traveling to one's dream vacation destination really sounds wonderful. I'm hoping to do that too! :) Sincerely hope you'll get to visit Austria one day :D

Absolutely! That's one part of the great fun to live here. I can easily visit Switzerland and Germany in one day. Even Italy isn't that far away.
