how do you ping the group artsale? but the @ and the # don't work :(

It should just be # artsale, without the space. Are you pinging on the art forum? (Sounds dumb, but some pings don't work on certain forums if I remember right.)

Are group pings case-sensitive? If they are, then the groupname is ArtSale.

I don't think they have to be case sensitive, because I never capitalize anything
