So I gather that speed acts as accuracy during battle so the more speed you have, the higher the chances of doing greater damage. However I know most battlers usually focus strength or health. My pet is nearly at tier 6 and I just would like to know if it is worth it to focus on speed at all or just stick to health and strength.
Just to clarify I mean spending exp points and stat boosters not regular training.

one of the main purpose of speed is to be able to do critical hits and prevent your opponent from critically hitting you. In the current battle system, speed is generally regarded as the least important of the stats, although how much / often you train it depends on the stats of your pet / tier / etc.
Personally, I don't think it's the best idea to have a primarily speed build, but i do know there are battlers out there who want to try everything and have ten pets or so training them each a different way. Since you're still t6, i think it would be beneficial to have an even build, but if that pet is going to be your main / only battle pet i wouldn't recommend having a ton of speed.

Speed also affects the activation rates of secondary effects such as freezing/stealing/blessings/curses on some weapons (for example, rapier of error seems to curse more often around 1250 speed or so and paintbrush blades won't activate their blessing at all at less than 2000 speed).

oh wait seriously that's awesome. Although i'm guessing it's mostly for the higher tier / godly weapons?

It could be for lower and mid tier weapons as well, though I do not know all of them (rapier was only listed from personal experience).

O_O I will take me years to get there at the rate I'm going. But that's really interesting! I thought activation was based on intelligence.
I've been focusing on strength, but I've been thinking of dumping some health in too.

There are three lower tier weapons that scale based on intelligence, but intelligence is more there for being able to equip more scrolls.

ah I see. BTW, how do you level your pets so fast? Do you/did you spend a lot on auto training when they were lower tiered?

if you have the CSC, autotraining while you're a lower tier is awesome. since your pet is t6 i think doing it now would be a good idea. I always do when i have money to spare, but right now i don't :P
You should also make sure you're doing quentin quests, shinwas quests, and BQ's every day possible, those help a lot.
also, focusing a little more on health than strength is probably a good idea because in the future when you're closer to your cap, it's probably helpful to have way more health than strength. This all depends on your preference of build, of course

yep I do shinwas quests and battle quests all the time but I often get lazy on the other ones. The mage has been pissing me off because recently over the last 15 amulets I have gotten, none of them have turned out to be tomes.
I noticed that you get get more trainings done in autotraining if you have have a gold account (only by 2 I think), but I'm not one to spend much money/sp on csc, so I have been super slow.
Hmmm. Health seems like a good idea especially since it will probably cost a lot more exp at higher tiers.

try doing quentin, even if you don't want to trade for tomes you can always sell the amulets to buy stat boosters. And i'm sorry for your bad luck, but sometimes you'll get really good luck, i got a 1/3 tome amulet ratio once :P plus you don't really lose much from the quests since quentin pays sp too :P

oh yeah, I don't buy the amulets, they're all from quentin, but one can wish for better luck right? >_<
Do you save up your stat boosters or do you use your right away? I've been stashing all of mine except for intelligence.

I did autotrain two of my pets a lot when they were smaller, though I've also spent excessive amounts on stat boosters in UltimateFriend's case.
I'd say 3667 would be a good place to stop for your first big pet as that will make Prodigy unable to crit you in battle quests and that would also allow you to use that to level up faster and even win big loot weapons later on to make it so that your next big pets will have an easier time defeating a critical hitting Prodigy in battle quests than your first one did at the same stats.

i find it more satisfying to save and then spend, but i've been getting impatient lately and using them on the spot :P although in the long run it doesn't make a difference.
I save my intel boosters as well since i'm not a big scroll user at the moment and i can easily gain intel from books. I'm deciding whether to use them or sell them and use the sP for other stat boosters to get stronger faster, we'll see.
