I bought an Overlay for my pet but the artist has no idea on how to make it transparent so I am looking for someone to help me out with this.

This is the overlay that I need to have transparent

The artist said that she made it on SAI so if you need it please tell me so I can tell her to send me the file.

Ping me!

If I remember correctly SAI can export files as .psd's which should allow them to be opened in photoshop, which then again should allow you to do transparent backgrounds. ^^

So if you can get the artist to send you either the .sai or .psd I should be able to do this for you. Or anyone with photoshop could do it for that matter.

So I'll necesarilly need the file itself. Was hoping I didn't but yeah, I am going to ask her for it and hope that she still has it! Thank you!! I know someone who could do that for me but if she can't I hope you don't mind me relying on you <3 -I'd pay you for that of course ;) ~

Well some people are pretty good at removing backgrounds from images, but the result would almost always be better if they had the original layered file.

And if it's as easy as I think it should be, it definitely wouldn't require payment. It should be as simple as disabling/deleting a layer. Or actually just opening the file and saving as .png. xD I just checked.

Just to update, my friend did the transparency for me (and without that file and it's amazing). Thank you for your feedback and for your kind offering :)
