Healing is disabled against Eclipse, so a set for him would be different than other challengers.

I find that makes for a good temporary defense against his attacks. You can try using pumpkin wand as a main means of attack. Using the bombs might not be too bad since you will want to end the battle pretty quickly since you cannot heal back any damage he gives to you.
