Hi everyone, so I'm just now starting at the Battle Coliseum. I just made a new pet named Urban Decay, and she's a Blacklight Jollin. I fed her all up, and made her happy by playing with some toys, and now she's ready for battle. Well, so I think. Thing is, I have no weapons or anything to help. I have no idea what's good and what's not good to use to begin with. If anyone could give me tips to what to do, and items to use; you guys would save my life.

I will say that the best weapons can vary from challenger to challenger (especially when you get into concepts such as entire features being disabled, which tier 1 does that with Eclipse and Coeli having healing disabled).

Being the beginner tier, tier 1 does require the least intricate strategies for victory. A few things you will want to have:

1. An infinite use healer weapon (something like Cream/Dusk Chelon Gem or Red Rreign Staff of Lore should do the trick) to give you a decent enough heal while dealing a little bit of damage and lasting the whole battle.

2. An infinite use attacking weapon such as Item Hunter Wand or those bone hooks that are created from the weapon alchemy tokens. 10+ icons is good for an infinitely lasting attacking weapon in tier 1.

3. A clutch healer to serve as a weapon that is only once per battle but offers a big enough heal and does not consume the healer slot. Something like Bronze Quill could do in tier 1. Phoenix Quill (will likely stock in the Millionaire Center in summer) is a clutch healer that will heal for the equivalent of your pet's max HP. The Phoenix Quill looks costly at first, but it will last you your entire battle career.

4. Though they are not necessary, bombs like Krad Bomb, Happy Bomb, or Feathered Bomb might get in a little bit of extra damage on your opponent for a quicker victory.
