i don't like the way the buttons under the avatars on the forums are now hidden, i don't like having to mouse over them to make them appear. i think this should be optional, because while i understand some people didn't like them/thought they took up too much space, i'd much rather have them right there for me to see at all times. you could have an option on the options page like "automatically hide avatar buttons - enable/disable."

Agreed. I'm all for the idea for the people that want it, but I don't like the hovering that activates whenever I move my mouse over the HA box, even if I'm going for something else.

i'm not rly usually one to coment on site features, but i do agree that i preferred the way it was prior. my monitor was wide enough to neatly accommodate the two rows of two boxes, though for those who have smaller screens i think the sliding element would be nice to have. great time to have the option, i think!

Please? I know staff is for some reason against giving people options for stuff but I'm really not liking this. I don't like them being hidden in general. I don't like that suddenly the thread starts moving if I accidentally mouse over the thing (can we at LEAST make them click to open?).

Totally agree, it gets a bit annoying that it always pops up when I just wanna click on the username. I rather would want it to either stay open or closed, so for the second you have to first click on the triangle.

Is there an option to hide full avatars yet? Because that's what I'm interested in. The buttons aren't a problem for me at all, and, Idk, hiding them is unnecessary for me personally. It's the massive avatars and all the empty gray space in forum posts that look bad.

I do remember saying that toggling options pose more of an issue technically. I don't have strong feelings about avatar buttons either way, whether they're visible or more hidden.

I'm also more interested in what's going on with the options of hiding full avatars and full forums.

I'd really like this to be optional. I don't give a toss about 'hearting' anyone's avatar, but I do like seeing post counts and achievements, and it's annoying to have to mouse over someone's HA to see them.

Yes. I agree. Also, what about people who leash their pets on forums? Are they hidden with this new feature, too? Not awesome; especially for those who want to get their pets noticed.

No, leashed pets show up under the little arrow thing like normal, the hover stuff comes up between the pet and the HA.

I like the idea of this change, but the implementation sucks. The super quick hover change gives me an immediate headache! :c I'd prefer to have to click the arrow to show the buttons SLOWLY, if at all. Hurting your users is not going to help you, Subeta. -.-
