i have been on hiatus for a while and am trying to figure out a few things! in regards to the 22k stat cap - is that only at the training centre? so if i used stat boosters can i go beyond it?

No, once you hit 22k boosters won't work, except for intel.

The only time stats will go up when you hit the cap is if you get a random event where your active pet (if it's capped) will gain a free stat gain. Or the Job Agency. I do believe the Oracle helps too but that may have been changed. But once you hit the cap yeah you can only raise level and intelligence freely.

I tried the Oracle thing and she gave me level three times in a row. Not sure if she's programmed to do that or just really bad luck on my part, but I gave up trying.

You can only get level and intel. For example if you use a tome, you will get level and intel and 0 for everything else. (guess how I found that out? Oops!) If you use a booster that doesn't have either, you will just get all goose eggs. :(

I thought boosters gave an error message if they didn't have intel/level. Either way, don't use them unless it's like a Shinwas Key or Shinwas Flower.

@ jayman It was like that at first, but then the Shinwas Key and Shinwas Flower were the only things useable on capped pets, the price for them went through the roof. Then someone complained about not being able to use other stat boosters with intel. So they changed it. This followed up with a bunch of "guess who just used a tome on the wrong pet, durr!!" posts. Me being one of them.

Purge says in this thread in the middle of the top post: "- The stat cap will be reviewed and most likely moved". But being Subeta the timeline on that could be anything.
