I came here from Neopets and the people there were either really nice or awful. People here seem nice enough, just less social.

I'm not in a cult, but I think they aren't really advertised for as much on Subeta in general because they tend to be specialized. I would just browse the threads in this forum for ones that are geared towards your interests (pets, human avatars, battling, adult players, etc.) A bunch of them ask for applications or aren't available to register for year-round, which I think contributes to the lack of invitation protocol. The Small Talk subforum is a good place to look for a group to chat with too. I found a ping group during an event that isn't a formal cult which is another option. Another big reason for a bit of a diminished cult presence on Subeta in general is that they're broken and the cult revamps have been a long time coming. The majority of cult activity happens offsite on the cult's own forums or IRC. I hope this helped a little. :)
