Is this true? Should I have not logged on?

You won't get frozen for logging on from different locations. If you're worried, you can file a ticket to let staff know you're in a vastly different place to normal, but generally it should be okay.

No, you shouldn't have any problems logging on from a different computer. I log on from my iPod or my boyfriend's laptop all the time. Just be careful if you have other people logging into different accounts from the same computer.
