So after seeing the News, I went to Esthers and clicked on Talk to Esther.

I immediately got her saying "Yes, that’s one of them! How did you… where did you… anyway, thank you! If you happen to find any more, let me know!"

However I had nothing in my inventory and I did not get any dialogue leading up to this beforehand.

Then I was exploring and I found a Windy Vesnali Egg. I assumed that these were what we were supposed to turn in so I went back to talk to Esther. She still says the same thing, however the egg doesn't leave my inventory.

What is going on?

The eggs stay in your Inventory (I assume) until you have all 8.

I have no idea, tbh that's all I got as well. XD

I know I had some and she took them now I have 3 missing and not getting the final message o.0

I don't know if I got reset with the 3 --I know I found the Arura egg and it poofed, so I decided to look again, and have found 2 out of the 3 missing eggs--which makes me feel that I must have been reset because of the glitch? So if one of the eggs is missing try finding it again

do you know if you buy the eggs instead of finding them still work? because i bought 2 of 8 and they don't. Is that a glitch or something not 'possible' to do?

Based on SB posts and finding them myself all eggs seem tied to everyone's own account and don't count until "found" (ie the pop up window). So you could buy 50 eggs and make no progress. Many of us have found eggs tied to different pages than each other but for the most part eggs seem to be found by visiting major pages like CS or explore. Just play with all main site related links and I'm sure you'll get all 8.
