Toukyou Kushu...Awesomeness right there... Anyways, I don't know if people know of the manga, but it's really good, and I recommend people to check it out. The manga is great..and I learned just recently that an anime is coming out for the series. Since I can't read in Japanese, a friend of mine (who is Japanese) confirmed for me that the anime is coming out July 7th.. Hopefully she read it correctly...But any who.. I am super excited! I have been following this manga for quite a long while, and the fact that it's being made into an anime is awesome! I am super excited! The wait seems too long though... Of course I've waited longer for other shows and so forth, but I just want to start watching the series already. Anyways, are there any shows that you guys are just super excited for?

Oh, wow, it's been 4 months since I've created this forum post. I almost forgot about it, aha. Yeah, it's a great series, I agree. I'm just waiting for the most exciting parts in the series to show up in the anime. I've read all of the chapters out so far, but the anime is going a bit slow (there's only a few episodes out, less than ten). I hate the wait really, but I guess I'll have to endure it. Tsukiyama... Yeah, I don't like him. I mean, all he thinks about is eating Kaneki...The only reason he's helping Kaneki is because it'll give him a better chance at eating him at his prime.. I mean, I like his flamboyant nature, but he really does piss me off.

Ooh, Tokyo Ghoul! I love Uta a lot, he's beautiful. I haven't watched the anime yet, though. I heard it's not really good because the pacing is awful and a lot of gore is censored out.

Uta is quite interesting! I like his style and how he handles certain situations. He's a good place to go for ghouls needing some guidance, aha. Yeah, the anime is really slow.. I already know what's pretty much going on since I've read pretty much all of the chapters out so far in the manga, but I would like to see it in action...However, the series isn't being captured as great in the anime as it is in the manga. I usually prefer the manga over the anime to pretty much any series, and I'm about to add this one to the list for that.

I'm not entirely up to date with the manga; I've just finished up till the, uh, centipede part. I was actually planning to continue the series by watching the anime, but I guess not. And I have to agree with you there, manga are usually better than their adaptions xD Who's your favourite character?

Oh, okay, so you're around chapter 100. Well, you should definitely keep on reading, since it just gets better and better. I also just saw there was an update, so I'll be reading the new chapter in the next hour (or probably now, aha). Since the translations were taking a pretty long time, I would have to read the raws, which I did not understand since I didn't speak Japanese. I kind of tried to deduce what exactly was going on by the images, totally missing key details in the process. I'm just so happy that the translation speed has picked up. I had to re-read a lot of the chapters, but it was so worth it. I'm glad that they just translated chapter 140, it already looks awesome! My favorite character? That would probably have to be Kaneki. His character is by far the most interesting. His transformation was also pretty epic. As far as second, third, and fourth favorites, that would have to be Uta, Yoshimura, and Yomo. I also like Banjou and Touka as well, but they would perhaps be more of my fifth and sixth favorite characters. I'm really curious about the One-Eyed Owl (I won't give you any spoilers). I want to see how he really looks and what's really driving him. I think I typed a bit too much, but I couldn't help it, aha.

Ah, I'm reading the Chinese scans. It's also been translated up till 140. And I'm gonna try and get up to date over the weekend :D And gosh, I really like white Kaneki; it's like his personality just took an entire 180. This series is entirely awesome.

I read chapter 140, and I seriously cannot wait for the next chapter! I'm curious to see how Kaneki will further evolve in terms of his personality and appearance. I hope the author doesn't give us an abrupt ending and that this manga goes on for longer (at least another hundred chapters, aha).

Ahh, I've managed to reach chapter 133 uwu It's definitely getting really exciting now, and Kaneki is seriously awesome. I don't want it to end, either xD

I'm up to date on the manga, and the anime is good too, but I wish there were more episodes out, tbh. D: And Tsukiyama tho, he used to make me mad but then I grew to love him. ^^

I hope it just doesn't end anytime soon. I mean, it's getting so good, why should the author stop it now? Continue reading till chapter 140, you won't regret it. Though it sucks when you read the last update and have to actually wait for the next few chapters to come out.. It's almost better to read it slowly so that you'll actually have something to read when you want to read the manga rather than to read it relatively quickly and have absolutely nothing to read until another chapter comes out (this way you'll also end up in the same situation since it's only but one chapter that's out and you'll have to wait once more for the other chapters to come out).

The anime is incredibly slow... Nothing too exciting ever happens in the episodes... Perhaps it'll get more exciting in future episodes, but up till now, it's been quite boring. And yeah, I just can't seem to like Tsukiyama... He's not someone that you can trust.. He's not sincere.. I mean, maybe he'll change, but who knows with him.

It's slow, but since I'm caught up on the manga, it doesn't bother me very much. Tsukiyama has an awkward personality, but I still wonder how I even bias him, tbh. I think he might change. ^^

Yeah, but now I have to wait for chapter 141 and episode 10, aha. ;A;

I really liked the manga until the final troll chapter. Like wtf. I'm not sure I want to read the sequel if there'll ever be one because I hate writers who enjoy yanking their fanbase's chains. Even if we got a lol j/k out of it and my favourite character isn't dead, there's no guarantee it won't happen again.

i LOVE tokyo ghoul; it's my second favorite series ever ;v; i really like kaneki and hide tbh, and i started with the anime so it's still really nice to me

Oh, wow, I haven't been on Subeta in awhile. Well, I was kind of disappointed in the anime and the manga ended in a huge cliffhanger where everyone just put out a D: face. The second season to the manga came out and I have been reading it, but I am wanting answers (sooner than later hopefully). I'm reading and reading, but there are still no explanations! I'm coming up with how I think everything went after the last chapter of the first season, and watch it be so wrong, aha.
