Anyone have any advice on what the best bomb scroll would be regardless of required AP? Also if there is a good one for around 8 AP, which is what I currently have unused on my main battle pet. Thanks!

Lucky Scroll would be the best bomb scroll. It does 50 icons plus some other stuff. If you didn't notice it, here is the thread for all scroll stats.

Fatal Fire is my favorite bomb scroll, or once per battle scroll. It's only 10 AP but it attacks 24 icons which is 1 more icon than a godly scroll, and it also blocks 75 dark and fire each which are common icons. But if you really just want high iconage, Morosbane is about the same price, 15 AP though, but does 40 icons + 300HP heal.

Bomb scrolls are generally not used if you are talking about attacking scrolls as big block scrolls such as cobalts and sancts are used to take up the AP space not occupied by your main scroll (or freezer scrolls if owned). I find morosbane is best used on pets around tier 8 or below (or maybe higher tiers if you have a high attack stat build). Actually, morosbane (and the not as available upgrade lucky) is OP in the low tiers.

Thank you both for the feedback. I actually have a Morosbane so maybe I will just use that and I will also look in to Fatal Fire. I have 4 cobalt scrolls in my set already and I'm looking to add a bomb to follow up when psycho smasher freezes, instead of using my main healing scroll which does little damage.
