Don't they breed those specifically for hunting? I don't think they're taking any out of the wild. Not what I'm thinking of, thank you for responding.
Do you have any info on that? Please respond ASAP because I'd like to sign - I don't think it's right either way, but killing bred ones will curb poaching dramatically, so if that's the case, I'm not sure I'd want to sign until we get the ranchers that protect the wild ones more money (they're not doing their jobs).
I'd like to sign too, but I'm not really sure if the petition is really what I agree to. (some of the sentences are misleading). BUT this is something that I'm interested in!

Here is the youtube channel. There are several "hunts" in different parts of Africa. Some of which are very rural and under developed. I doubt each one of these countries have a specified "hunting area" where they are only killing things that they have birthed and raised. However there is a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axBIdifb0CA where they have a congested area where I feel the animals are being fed maybe even contained for easier targets.
I would love to know which sentences are misleading. I have edited the petition twice to try and correct some of my thought process when I wrote it. I wrote it when I first found out about this problem and was upset so that may be why the grammar is off. :)
That is definitely not what I'm thinking of, then. The areas I knew of were deliberately fenced-in... resorts...? where they hand-raised male lions to keep poachers from shooting wild ones.
I will be signing, thank you.
ya, I'm way more okay with some company interested in this sort of behavior doing it with the earth in mind. Raising animals to help counterbalance the effect was one of the things I keep suggesting to my friends and family as part of the solution. I don't want this company shut down. I just want them regulated and fined/jailed if they are harming our environment. Even just being part of the trip should be enough to get in trouble. If someone wants to do this sort of thing they need to give back to the earth!
