So, I get that during seasonal events and things of that nature, a lot of people will offer various trades in exchange for items that will help move them forward in the event. Super. Awesome. Great. It'd just be nice if anyone ACTUALLY held up their end.
Them: "Let me know if you want to do this trade!" Me: "I do!" Them: ......... nothing
Seriously, if you guys aren't going to pay attention your thread or messages, or even bother to reply, then don't make the offer to begin with. This has happened to me a couple times through the trade forums as well. I mean, good lord, at least TELL me that you're not going to come through. So frustrating. Ah well! Moving on!

I'm sorry that happened to you. I try to avoid the contests and such for that reason.
Funny you say that - I farted then looked down and saw this. For a second there I was like "whoa subeta smelled it"
If I had a guess, I'd say you got there late. It's rude that people don't clean the topic when they're done with it and ignore anyone who responds to it any further, tho. :T Like, really?
Same thing happened to me once. I tried to offer to buy something from them but never responded. I waited forever and just gave up. -_-

That's why I rarely offer on threads. I've had a couple of times where I was skipped completely.
The seller last responded to a post five minutes before I post. They don't post again until hours later. Ok, that's fine. They came back and started up at the post right after mine. No response at all that I even posted. They still have the item because five posts after mine a user offered 100k less than I did and the seller accepts their offer. Worst was the fact that the item was asked about by two other users and the one right after me noticed and edited their post to reflect that I offered first! The second erased their post.
I also no longer take part in HA contests nor offer to help out with the prize pool. Contest runner stated they needed more prizes so if anyone wanted to help out they could. I offered up 30-40 items priced from 100k-2mil. I put them in trades and gave the contest runner the lot numbers. I ended up having to cancel the lots a month later because they never responded to me. Meanwhile they were taking prize offers from everyone else who offered them up. I had good items too. I had a few people I had to disappoint, myself included because some had offered highly sought after wl items of mine, when they offered on those lots while I waited. Another sad thing, the last contest of theirs I did I came in second and never got my prize.
I swear I have a cloaking device on my posts or something.
edit- typos that just have to show themselves many minutes later. ;-_-

Ha ha! Nice. XD I did consider that I may have gotten there a bit late, so I went back to refresh the thread a few times just to make sure. I was still the second poster on the thread, and yet, much like what was talking about, I got skipped over for everyone after me. It's crummy.
I think the most frustrating part is when you say something and they act like you're being obnoxious or complaining for no good reason... Like, um, excuse me, I was participating and you straight up ignored me. I don't see how pointing that out makes ME the bad guy here. Which then leads me to assume that, not only are they air-headed, they're kind of rude jerks as well. :(

.. I forget my board if I'm not pinged. But if someone ask to buy something from me, and ignore me after 2 days? Well I just sell it to someone else.
Or when people say "It's a hard to sell item, accept my sP" Dude no, I know my shit.
Do they have you blocked? Maybe they straight up don't see you.
Um, I offered exactly what they asked for. And the whole point of this is that they DIDN'T respond to me. At all. Not that I didn't respond back. Why would I complain about it if I was the one who didn't reply to them?
doubtful... I haven't been active that long and I've only spoken with a few people personally, and we got along fine.
