What does leashing your pet do?

The leashed Pet will appear under you avatar etc. on your forum posts as a little headshot image with the Pet's name and a link to its profile. You can also write a short text for your Pet that will then show up under the image.

Yes, that's all (and it only lasts a month) but a lot of people asked for it to be able to show off their Pets on the forums as well. :)
