Wizard token prices are ridiculously low lately, and with the horrible, inflated worth of most recent BHH releases, I feel like it's time to have it stock more than two, three times a day.
is still 50M
= 44M
= 34M
15M, triple the price of its average
lol
lol
lol
lol
While most of these items were released in the last 12 months, I do believe it's time to bring them back to more reasonible prices.
As seen in my examples, no weapons were mentioned, it's solely collectibles, minions and wearables, so I don't know what is the best course of action for weapons. Maybe people that are more battle savvy can give their two cents.
The items in the BHH are supposed to be rare.
I've spoken with Grace and gotten her to up the restock amount a bit more, but not too much. and I will keep an eye on the restocks and change it more if we feel it needs to be. :)
I understand these are meant to be rare, but I'm glad the rs amount has been upped even a little, since my problem was mostly that some have remained totally unbuyable :)
Yes please. Make the restocks a bit more frequent and make the items cost a little bit more tokens to help get the token prices out of the crapper.
I understand the need for really rare, really expensive items to serve as an sP sink, but I feel like the people who do manage to restock something from the BHH end up keeping it for themselves more often than not. If they do try to sell it, the prices are so blown up that barely anyone wants to buy them no matter how pretty the items are, how well they'd fit in a pet TC, or how lovely they'd look on your avatar.
Nice to see that and are looking into it!
You can have rare items without making them impossible to attain.
Reference shop and millionaire center, namely.
Right now, they're not rare, they're frustrating. There is a difference between having most, if not all items restocking, not worth the tokens, and having most of the recent additions be unbuyable.
And, I don't feel that someone getting a lucky break in BHH should mean they should get 50 times their original investment by reselling.
I mentioned they are supposed to be rare and that is why I only had Grace up the restocks a tad bit more (it'll restock more than three times a day now). I didn't want to drastically change the odds at once, so we are going to keep an eye on it and change as needed. We just can't go back to where the BHH was before when things were all worth roughly 200k and things would sell out within a month.
Also fwiw, not every BHH item is currently in stock. They're added like token shop items so when the batch runs out, it runs out. I actually went and readded a lot of stock the other day. Lots of items actually do get cheap from there, but when the stock runs out items slowly increase.
Glad it was increased a bit, but it should remain hard and rare :)
Oh, I agree that BHH items shouldn't be worthless! I shouldn't have to hide in the adoption center and sell a bunch of Aeanoid kidneys to buy a beanbag from someone, though. Glad we agree on that!
Now, I'll go back to my usual occupation, which is whine about old DPs.
wooshes again
I agree with "hard and rare" but let's face it, we were way beyond "hard and rare" there, especially with 900 users online at low points of the day ;)
I actually really don't want this at all. It'll only bring prices down on items that are suppose to be hard to get and expensive.
I am with , if rare and wanted items are made less rare then items that are circulating/rsing in the bhh but not of much demand (unfair) eg 30 k only , will plummet . Why not increase the prices on TS items as a means to consume more tokens , the newest ts item would have just as well have sold at 200-300 tokens instead of 100.
There is a balance between "so expensive none are on the market and buyers are taken hostage by the seller" and "wow, waste of tokens".
2-3 restocks a day is not balanced, considering the number of players online at peak.
and lol, that bookmark.
Some items can afford to plummet in price. Burder is worth 50 tokens. Not 500. 50. It's selling for over 1M per token used.
Fury is what, 4M, Xentrilis/Greedisnake is 9M at max. There is no logical reason why Prince would be worth three times that, especially since Prince is 250 tokens, while Xentrilis is 500
i dont know about the rest of the items but the muse were sold for as low as 15 mil . And since when have ss prices reflected actual prices?
Yes, it's true that a bunch of haunted moonstones did sell for over 100M, which is totally logical.
Inky eyes are selling in the 8-digits as well. For an item that costs 75 tokens to restock. I doubt that increased restock will make the pair of eyes drop below the price of 75 tokens.
The lack of supply is the issue, and with increased restocks, we won't see a complete collapse of the prize.
The bookmark crashed in price because it has no use, therefore, no demand.
i am wondering if inky was to put on ss at half price 22 mil , will it sell asap or just stagnate? And i did say the bookmark is an unfair example (it made nearly 1/4 of my bhh rs along with party pooper)
The bookmark is a terrible example for anyone to use omg -laughs-
And I support it stocking more, end of story. I fully 100% understand that not everything should be worthless, but at the same time-- wow the rate was seriously 3 items a day? That is pathetic.
There's typically well over 1k users online most of the time now. You might get something in the 700-900 range during the non-peak hours, but otherwise it's a pretty solid 1k+ and there were an entire 3 items stocking per day? Holy wow, them odds, no wonder I get kicked out more than I ever see anything :P
Is Crypts set up the same way? Only allow 3 users per day to make it to the end? It would make a lot of sense, I've never made it past door 7, and I don't feel like I'll ever find that Journal for sale xD
I'm 90% sure it was restocking more than 3 times a day. I remember asking Keith about it a few months ago an we figured out it was 4-6+ times a day, more I think. There are just lots of items :)
Anyway, like I said, items that aren't new get expensive when their stock runs out. That's why a 250 token something with 0 stock left will be double a 500 token something that is still stocking.
