hey guys.. everytime I try to buy an item from the search page, this message appears :( I can only buy it if I enter the shop and look for the item there, but it makes it difficult for me to do quests and stuff.. sorry if this has already been posted!

this just happened to me as I was doing a quest for Carl...it was the first time it had happened to me and it had said there were seven of the items in stock so I was confused.

Which item were you purchasing that you received this error, if you recall.

I dont remember, but it kept happening for every item I searched, for a long time... Thankfully, today it stopped, but I tried like five days ago and it was still happening

I don't know, it wasn't for one specific item, it was a couple of them. It kept appearing as i was doing quests, I'd click to go into the shop to buy and it would say it didn't exist, not that it wasn't in stock. It hasn't happened in the past few days that I have done quests so perhaps it has been worked out?

I have the same issue, and it's happened multiple times today already. I tried to quest for Saggi and Pete and every time I tried to purchase /any/ item from the shops, I only get the error message that "Item doesn't exist!"

same here. i was doing item hunt and i couldn't buy a pair of brightly colored socks. thankfully it was stocked at a main store, so i didn't lose my levels. it keeps happening for anything i search for. bit of a bummer.

What browser are/were you experiencing this on?

Google Chrome - the glitch persisted for a few hours and then vanished, haven't experienced it since.

I have been doing a lot of questing in Chrome lately, and I haven't been able to replicate this (nor have the programmers).

What version of Chrome are you using? Can you walk me through exactly what you are doing before this error comes up: Does it only happen during specific quests? How are you searching for the items - are you clicking on the Search Shops link and opening it in the same tab or a new one? Does this only happen when you are on a quest? Have you been able to clear it up by closing the tab, clearing cookies, etc?

ALSO ONE MORE QUESTION: Is this happening when you are buying from the main NPC shops or the regular user shops?

I haven't been online in a while, um. This hasn't happened since it happened when I first posted about this, but I also haven't been questing.

I have the newest version of Chrome I was doing Item Hunt when this occurred, I stopped questing for that day then, waiting for it to pass. I used the search bar in a separate tab, not a link. I also tried buying several other unrelated items, and they glitched the same way too. My inventory wasn't full and I had enough money on hand, too. I was not on a quest, only Item Hunt. And like I said, it hasn't happened since, but I don't know if that's only bc I haven't really been questing lately...

And it only happened for me when buying from user shops! Thankfully I was able to grab the item Chase was asking for from a NPC shop. :-)

EDIT/ I tried item hunting now and all works fine.

This keeps happening to me. I'm using the unbranded version of Chrome called SRware Iron. It's basically the same browser.

The problem is that the links don't have the item ID in them. All the URLS from the search result page are like: ushop.php?shopid=[shopID]&act=buy

I noticed it while questing, but the problem didn't stop after I finished questing and wasn't restricted to quest items. It only occurred with user shop items.
