I keep going to download the old versions of FF but always within a few days it's auto upgraded back to 14... is there a way I can keep it on like version 13 til they fix the problems with 14?

If you go to Options -> Advanced -> Update, there will be a little ticky box that says something like "install updates automatically." Uncheck that and you should be good. :)
