I've just recently come back to Subeta and there are these things call custom wearables and they sound pretty darn awesome. Some people have asked me if I make them but I wouldn't have a clue what they would normally go for!

Specifically looking at wigs for the moment- not taking into account an artists popularity- just looking for a fair price to go on before I start saying to peeps "yeah I do them" lol

Wanting to know the USD prices, thanks!

The cw market is pretty... chaotic right now. Different artists take between $10 and $50 for the same item (no idea which artists though, got this information pretty randomly and don't care about it either). Which, in a lot of cases, does not indicate the quality/complexity of the item. Not only because they all have to meet at least some of our given standards, but in the end popularity really does take the cake.

However, without examples its difficult to estimate your style/work. Certain styles are much more popular and will allow you to take a lot more than other styles.

So.. what does the fox say...? [Item=energetic fox buddy]

Thanks squishy! I have an overlay example of the style I'll probably go with if that helps with a price range? LINK

Aah.. nice!!

Well, i personally would suggest $20. Thats something i've seen a lot. But i'd still suggest to try some cw's at first, before you actually pin down your price and agree on commissions. Out of my experience there is a huge difference between "normal" (human/anthro) art and.. cws. They are soo tiny and you gotta reduce shades and lines and much more.. ._. (and if you realize you need like.. hours, just for a tiny bit of shading, you might want to adjust your price too xD)

I have to agree with on this. The CW market is hella chaotic. BUT! If you really want to get into it, then I would suggest doing a few CWs around the $10-$20 beginning out. Popularity plays a huge part in the market despite what many think. If you do decide to go about doing CWs I would be interested in commissioning you. Just let me know. ❤️

Thanks guys! I think I'll start off at maybe $10-15 depending on how big of an item someone wants :)

I'm not sure about pricing, but I would definitely be into commissioning you for CW's! :D Be sure to read the guidelines on how to do them though, there are a couple quirky rules here and there that make the approval process a hassle for some. I'm pretty sure your art is more than up to snuff to pass the quality requirements though!
