Can people just starting the plot not battle these challengers? Is there no where to get the events for them now?

Are you in the middle of a quest with him? I know some people had a problem with that earlier.

Actually, I think they should all automatically be in your list of challengers now. They were un-hid so they could show up in BQs.

a friend came on after a long absence and went to his shop but did not get events. Maybe she already has them in the BC? I will go ask. Would hate for her to miss out since her pet is stronger than mine and she has a most excellent battle set. Thanks.

They should all just appear in the BC now, like Jayman said -- I changed them all from secret to regular a couple days after we released the fairy. :)

Edit: Okay, good, glad she can fight them. :)
