Okay, so I guess this might sound really really weird, but I'm asking it anyway because I want other people's opinion on it...
Lately I've been having strange dreams in which friends die, pitches are rejected (I'm a writer) and basically everyone gets mad at me. As long as those are dreams, nothing is going on, right? Right.
It's only that these dreams have started to interfere with my real - concious - life. I can't tell whether something has actually happened or whether it was a dream. It usually pops up after a few hours, like, "whoa, oh, what, they didn't die after all, uh, whoa, okay, what." Sometimes, however, it doesn't and it takes literally days to figure out whether or not I dreamed something.
I am taking medication that's known to make my dreams more vivid, but I don't think this is normal? Has anyone experienced it? How to solve it?
It could really be because of the medication because the crazy dreams symptom is a common side effect. Don't worry about whether it's normal or not and talk to your doctor about your dream worries.
I have two real guesses on this: One; medication side effect. Some meds have some really strange effects.... almost sounds like a medication induced psychosis... are you sure you're asleep when they happen? On that thread CALL YOUR DOCTOR ASAP- THE SOONER THE BETTER!! Two; Maybe you're subconscious is trying to tell you something?

Thank you anon ;_; x10 March 4/21/21 (RIP Storm-buddy the leopard gecko- you lived a great 16.5 years.)
Whenever I realize it's not real, I can judge that it happened in my dream so I don't think it's psychosis. I've never before shown any sensitivity for psychosis, even though my depersonalisations tends to feel like it sometimes.
Thank you for replying - I'll discuss it with my doctor on the next appointment. :)
