I got an Earth Mage Amulet in a random event and I was wondering what to do with it? Like what does it do or am I better off selling it?

You can sell it, gather other amulets and get the achievement, wear it http://www.subetalodge.org/view/item/Earth+Amulet and someone may come along with other uses. :)
