resizing a .GIF

Ok.... I have no idea how to do this. I wanna put a .gif in my signature but it's too large. How do I resize it? Thanks!

I use GIMP to do that but I know there are online editors (I'm sure this issue has already been resolved somewhere here).
nope no resolution yet. Do you have any sites that you know of where I can edit the .gif?
