I'd probably go with something like this:

Arid Chelon Gem Bronze Quill Life Charm Item Hunters Wand Mystical Orb Gold Helmet Krad Bomb Happy Bomb

That ought to be a good start, though you probably won't get much damage in on the boss. Later on, you can replace one of the bombs with phoenix quill.
