I think I'm going to try a small wacom bamboo. I'm best at traditional art and I'm pretty adaptable to most things. Sadly my hand shakes slightly when I'm using a mouse. When I'm using a pencil it never does. I also prefer digital to traditional. So thanks for all the help.

I just got a Wacom Intuos4. It's just come out and it's absolutely amazing. :D If you want to keep it simple, I would go for a cheaper one, though. The wacom bamboo for example, as most people above already said. :)

I second the Wacom Intuos (I have an Intuos 3, 9x12), but the price can be prohibitive. It's an amazing piece of technology, though.
