Hi all you CSS savvy folk :)

I've been trying to install a layout from SubetaLodge all evening. Specifically, this layout.

All I've been doing is Selecting All for the code, then Copying, then pasting into the profile box under the profile section under Preferences. No matter what I do I can't get it to take.

A layout-savvy friend has been trying to help me decipher the problem, including uploading the chosen layout and other subetalodge layouts to her own profile, both of which worked perfectly for her.

I am running Firefox 3.0 plus patches, and I have already tried clearing my browser cache, cookies, etc.

Do I need to file a ticket?

Unfortunately, removing the "center" codes didn't do anything. :(

If you are putting the code in via the User Preferences page, you must also have the Profile content section added on your profile. Or, you could put the code in one of your Blank sections if you don't want to add the Profile section.

Okay, I added the code to a blank section and now I have the profile I wanted, mostly. Unfortunately, my profile boxes extend far below the bottom of the scrolling area.

Any idea how to fix this?

That premade layout is designed to have ONLY the comment box in column 2. Move all your other sections except the comment box to column 1.

Hmmm...the column numbers go 1, 2, 3, from left to right, correct? I put everything in the farthest left column, except for the comment box which I left in the middle column (2).

You still have boxes in column3 (Shops and Achievements), which might be messing it up even though column3 is hidden in that layout. I suggest deleting all your content boxes (copy and paste your info blurbs into Notepad if you don't want to lose them). Then re-add the first Blank section, re-paste the layout code into it, and then re-add your other content boxes, being careful to make sure you only use columns 1 and 2.
