If a trade is reserved, then put that in the description. If you only want certain items or a set amount of sP, put it in the description.

It won't take you five seconds to type, and you won't have to bite people's heads off for not reading your mind.

Geez. :(

Sounds like that comes from personal experience--sorry to hear about that! I agree that if people are looking for something specific, they should say so. And if they're not looking for something specific but they're rude when people offer, then they're in the wrong for sure.

I've had three this week that blasted me for wanting to trade for their stuff. The other one just ignored me for three days while they were on. I usually try to offer when people are online, just so it's a bit easier to work out a price.

I'm guilty of not saying trades are reserved, but usually that's because I know the trading process won't take longer than five minutes.

As for not being specific about wanted items, that's pretty lame. You said it perfectly, though - you can't read their minds, so they shouldn't bite your head off.

If it's happened 3 times do you think maybe it's just what you're trying to offer these people?

Maybe they're undesirable items in their eyes, or just simply not enough sP. If someone is going to get all pissed off at me for trying to buy their item though I wouldn't buy it at all, even if we could agree on a price. That's just me though. :P

Good luck in the future with your trading!

I've left it blank multiple times, but that's just because I'm lazy. :x

[edit] Because I don't make sense.

Well, when I do items, I try to offer wishlist if I can, or items of equal value. I usually try to offer what the items are worth, and I usually end up talking to the user anyway, just to be sure that we're both happy with the deal.

I know the feeling.

On the other hand, I can't stop myself biting someone's head off when they offer me CRAP for an item worth 4.7 mil.
