Okay. Let me start off by saying that my feelings for the Glade color is... mixed to say the least.
I knew it was time for a new color... or species... to be released. Thus Glade comes out.
Don't get me wrong! The poses? ADORABLE! I mean, OMFG the Kora is just begging for a tummy rub! And the Kumos? EEeeee with the big ears and those Disney's Bolt eyes looking up at you in the incarnation of cute! All it needs is for the ears to flop over!
Heck even the effort put into it shines through. Attention to details like fur and markings. And the butterflies. Oh man, very nice touch. The flowers... would be beautiful except... for the creepy fail factor detailed below...
But... But... Okay, let me speak the title of a movie that sucks ALL the fun out of this for me.
shudder I'm sorry Bulbasaur/Ivysaur/Venusaur... but after seeing plants that horrifically grow INTO human bodies while they are still alive has totally ruined for me the concept of animal/plant hybrids... even those that are symbiotic rather than parasitic or predatory. Horrible. Frikkin creepy.
Sooo yes. Adora-horri-frikkin-creepy.
Mixed reviews. Others may love this, and for their case, I don't blame them. I can see where the charm lies. But for me... nuh-uh. There will never be a Glade pet in my account. No way...

[Edit] This is kind of a complaint, kind of feedback. I dunno where you should put it...

hahahahha, i totally understand! the glade pets are my favorite pet color so far, (wats so badly!!!) but there is something a little trippy about the whole concept. better than bloodred, though is squeamish
Eeeeeeeew. I was first like "I WANT TO SEE THAT MOVIE" but after reading the article.... ugggghhhhhh D: I have a...fear? somewhat of certain plants... Not fear, more like... I dunno, just don't like them, find them weird, specially moving ones, but all of them grow so I guess all of them move D: ... even though at the same time I find others beautiful. If I saw that movie I'd have nightmares o.o At first when the Glade was first being released I had the thought that pets with plants growing from them was creepy, but I dismissed it. Eh, I guess as long as I don't think too hard on it, it's ok. And as long as I never watch that movie. I felt like I was reading about a possible nightmare I might have or have had. Ew ew ew.
-anyone ever heard about grass actually crying when people step on them? @ That stuff is creepy.

Mmm I'm not very fond of the Glade pets, sure the poses are nice... yeah too girly-happy-plant-like... that and the color green kinda makes me cringe. Only one I COULD maybe stand is the Kora... OR Keeto but yeah... no thanks x_X
lmao I never even thought of them being creepy, but I can see it now!
personally I think experiment pets rank high on the 'creepy' list, but I don't really find any of the pets particularly creepy.
the legecia though... I'm pretty tempted to use my glade potion now instead of sell it. :(

I don't think it's creepy... I think it's still a cool idea. I... really like plants. ._.
Thanks for putting that in my head. Thanks. xD
..wow. If I'd seen that movie I'd be squirmish too. I read the summary...
I guess it is creepy for plants to be growing from inside the pets... but the pets don't seem to be in pain. Maybe the plants enhance the living ability of the pets? But somehow aiding them through photo synthesis or something. XD
But the art is too cute for me to be worried/thinking creepy thoughts.
[edit]
actually, upon closer inspection, the plants look like they're growing on the pets rather than out of them..
xP. I've never seen the movie, nor do I plan to. I love the glade pets but dont have enough pet slots. D;

AHHH! I immediately remembered that movie when I read about the glade! @ I was TERRIFIED of that movie, but I somehow got over my fear and I actually think the glade pets are my top 3 favorite colors xD
But that movie was REALLY messed up... especially that one blond girl who wanted to get them out of her mega shiver
OH NO!
Now I have that image burned into my minds eye!

I know what you guys mean. XD Give me werewolves and vampires and things that go bump in the night. Something about plants growing in you or on you is more frightening than any of them.

Lol. I love the glade pets so much. Even after knowing that tying someone on top of a growing bamboo shoot can cause the bamboo shoot to pierce and grow though a human body (Thank you, mythbusters).
I probably shouldn't have told you that.
:D Buaha.

Trust me, the movie is nothing compared to the book. Nothing. shudders
I still like the Glade pets though, maybe because they remind me more of Okami than the Ruins. The main character, Ammy, causes plants to spring up everywhere she walks. From what I can see in the images, these pets do the same thing. Only crap's growing on their bodies as well. o-0
That looks a bit more like someone snapped a twig off the fir tree outside their office and stuck it in the middle of a random mush of meat. Trust me, I read medical books-I know what a lung looks like. That isn't a lung. Or at least, not a human one.
I love the glade pets because I've always had a total fascination with plant/animal symbiosis. I remember a few years back they had this The Future Is Wild documentary about where evolution will bring us next...? it was all totally insane stuff (i do not think squids will be the next dominant species, sorry discovery channel) but they included this snake-fern thing that I've never gotten out of my head. :P
Also it totally fits one of my pets. Because, you know, his character is "plant/animal symbiont".
