My parents have had nothing but problems with Hondas and Fords so I wouldn't recommend them.
Edit: Ford is an acronym. Found On Road Dead.
Silence is golden... Duct tape is silver.
yeah fords are crap (but ford lovers say: first on race day ;) )
i still stand by my previous post

I third the pre-owned car.
I, personally, am very happy with the '98 Toyota 4Runner my mom purchased from my dad's co-worker. It's pretty easy handling and that thing has a lot of ass to it. Meaning it speeds and slows down very nicely.
My mom has an '03 Ford F150 and that thing is very nice. For her, though. That thing fucking hates me .__.
Don'tDon'tDon'tDon'tDon't buy a GM or Chevrolet. Those things blow big chunks. :x
I've never really driven a Civic, nor do I know someone who has, but they do get good reviews.
But it IS your money, after all. Go with what you like.
I agree with the pre-owned car! 8D I'll more likely than not get one. (A: I'm cheap. I admit! D: B: there is a 99.9% chance I will hit a mailbox at some point within the next two months.)
Yeah, I wanted a blue mazda m3 originally... they just made a new model that I'm not too fond of, though. I'd love a honda. I think I'll try more for the navy blue civic. ❤️
The other thing I'm seriously considering right now is a yellow volkswagen bug. xD I think an older, beat up pickup would be nice too but my mum does not like that idea. D:
I have had two cars in my life and have LOVED both.
First was a Honda Accord, stick shift. Got great gas mileage and hardly ever needed a repair.
Then I upgraded to my current car, which is an Acura TL... Got it used at a Lexus dealership, that I went to so I could look at an almost new Honda Accord. The Acura was in great condition and had some nice extras so we went with it.
Both Hondas and Acuras are fab cars, very reliable. Highly recommend them
