But sometimes, I want to murder the kids.
I babysit a set of twins and their younger brother, and they're great. Perfect angels. I've grown so close to them that I see them daily, and we go shopping together, and I take them to movies just because I love them.
HOWEVER.
The two twins, who are girls, are IN LOVE in with movie Twilight. I've seen it at least twenty times, and I've yet to find a single scene I actually enjoy.
(Okay, that's a lie. I love the baseball scene, but mostly for the music and the fact there's not really a lot of talking involved)
The point is, as much as I love the kids with all my heart, I want to beat them with the Twilight books everytime I go over to babysit and they insist on watching Twilight.
So, fellow babysitters, do you have kids that do things you hate?
My little cousin obsesses over Twilight and raves about how she is going to marry Edward and have his babies and that whole load of shit. She's twelve facepalm
I really want to punch her in the face.
I'll just take my Caspian and be on my way. You know, a person who is actually good-looking.
BEN BARNES IS MADE OF SEX AND WIN.
-cough-
I mean... Yes. Yes, he is very good looking.
I used to babysit these three children. The oldest (a boy) had a mad crush on me. The middle girl was fat, whiny and REALLY loud. She loved to throw temper-tantrums. The youngest was just a toddler and was fairly well-behaved, though she had a habit of getting hurt by her older siblings.
All they ever wanted to do was watch Barbie movies. BARBIE MOVIES. puts hands over her eyes I was in misery.
LOL I babysat once. My mom forced me to. Stupid kids used all my stickers. :(
He's like perfection put into a human body :o
And that's also how my cousin talks about fucking Edweirdo. Multiplied three times to the fifth power :x
Thank god I've never had to go through with babysitting brats...or any babysitting at all really :P
I was babysat myself when I was little, but I was never that annoying..apart from the fact that I'd come down saying I couldn't sleep then be all "MOVE ASIDE, BITCHES" and stuff Neverending Story into the video player.

my little brother, aged 7, i look after regularly, but when he doesn't get his own way, he screeches.
and the screeching goes right through me, i am not violent, but that noise, makes me want to throttle him.
that's better than watching disney sing-a-longs all day and hearing ''daaaaavy crocketttt'' 40 different times.
I once babysat a little brat who insisted on cutting up everything in the house and gluing it to the fridge, and locked me out of my own bedroom.
We were playing Trouble, and when we were done I began idly popping the die.. thing with my foot and he immediately grabbed the board away and exclaimed, "NO! You're wasting the numbers!"
I laughed at that, but still.
He was also sick and coughing everywhere without covering it or anything.
I was supposed to be paid $300 for babysitting that kid for a few days, but my mom told the kid's mom that I didn't want to do it anymore, and also insisted that she not pay me because finding a daycare would cost much more. I babysat him for an entire day for no money..
I occasionally babysit my next door neighbors kids.
K theres Alanah who is turning 6 on saturday and Nia/Nini (shes adopted from Equador) who's like 2 1/2.
K I love Nia to DEATH! She is always happy and even when shes not she never throws tantrums. Plus she loves playing outside (which I usually bring them outside to play anyway cause my house is like a small path through some bushes away. We live on the edge of a gold course.) and like she wants her hair in a ponytail cause i wear my hair like that all te time.
I CANNOT stand Alanah. im srry there are some kids i wanna hit and shes one of em. She whines when Nia wants to play outside, whines when she cant have a snack, whines when she has to go to bed. I have to hold her hand through everything.
Her parents spoil her rotten! She actually screamed and hit her mom in the face yesterday. ERG!
So I never let her have her own way and I dont even bother giving her a choice of what we ae going to do because she complains.
Idk I'll babysit Nia anytime but Alanah... i feel bad for her parents.
Working on filled wardrobe achievement. Almost at 12k!
Oh Gawd. There is this little girl who I babysit alone with about 15 others (while their parents are all learning how to speak English), who INSISTS on me holding her and playing with her LIKE SHE'S THE ONLY ONE. She always grabs onto my arm tight and drags me down and makes these stupid fucking noises and UGH.
