I really hope it's not too centered much. I'm so used to it being adjusted this way that if it's all moved over I'll wind up clicking all the wrong things.

Although, I'm a bit curious about the drop-down, since I'm guessing the bar would have to be at the top? If it's somehow drop down on the side like it is now, it seems like it'd get annoying to accidentally click the wrong box and have that one pop open and then have to close it to get to the other to pop open.

Or even having two, one on top of another, popped open sounds annoying.

For the most part Sebeta is great. I like the way it is now. I would say though that a better banner at the top would be cool. One that's more flashy or something. Currently is just fine though.

I think someone mentioned this, but the having the events like facebook does would be majorly awesome. Sometimes I come back to the site with a ton of events and its a pain to go through them all.

I would also like to keep the element of the shoutbox. Its my favorite part of the site, and where I've met all my friends. I'd rather not lose it.

Just really bright, lively colors, something that looks really new and modern? I like the way the links are set, pretty easy to use, but I would change the links into hover bars? I LOVE what they did at SubetaHQ, a similar concept would be great :)

And maybe it could be a little bigger, it only takes 3/4 of my screen..

Maybe a little News "window" on every page, so you could catch up right when everything happens? I miss TS RS's and events all the time, since I don't check the news every 3 seconds.. :P

something that doesn't take long to load the rest is already said so :)

Full screen would be awesome, as well as some new site themes, please :P

Other than that, I'm happy to wait and see what you guys come up with!

I am looking forward to the new layout but not to drop down menus. I absolutely hate those. A prefer a sidebar a million times more

How about this? Instead of your events list being at the top of the screen like it is now, have it run down the side. It would really help save space, and I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to incorporate into a full-screen layout ;) (I actually use a customCSS code that lets my events scroll down the side, and it's hugely useful ;) )

Definitely offer more colour schemes. (I kinda miss the layout options from the .org days, like the St. Patricks Day one.)

To be honest I'm really quite content with the layout. Well.. maybe a different color scheme or two would be nice- color is good. But that's about all.

I don't know if it's already been said but this is my two cents anyway:

When I first joined, it was really confusing to find things so a little more organization would be nice. And I'd also prefer it if the sidebar had buttons rather text links :)

Agreed. Not everyone has the spiffy wide screen monitor. XD -lame-

Subeta currently takes up more than 2/3 of my screen, so a really wide layout would be irritating. :/ Lots of people don't have wide screens.

If there was an option to select a layout setup that fit your screen size, that would be amazing.

Could you make the shoutbox a seperate pop up window? That'd be cool. :)

Oh! And we need an official site mascot in the layout to make Subeta more recongnizable to outsiders ❤️

I can't wait to see how everyone reacts to a new layout xD It's amazing to me that people still complain about the Neopets layout, and cite it as their reason for leaving that site. People are so incredibly, ridiculously resistant to change, I think the forums are going to be fun once the change occurs ;)
