Allrighty then. Here is the thing: I finally got pictures of some of my jewelry up on a web site I made. Now I want to sell it on here, and I know the pictures are really crappy... But I would like to know if you would pay $5.00 for the earrings and $10.00 for the necklaces. Also, if anyone can help me take better pictures, please tell me how :)

I'm a jewelry maker too. I base my prices on cost of materials and time it takes me to make something. I mean, jewelry is an expensive hobby.

For the stuff needed to make earrings..? Well you need a pack of the posts/hooks, thats about 3$ right there. Depending on what you're making the earring part of it out of, and if it's custom or for fun, the beads could run you from 3$ to 20$. I'd estimate the average cost of one of mine here to be.. 15$. The hooks were $3, and the packets of glass beads were 4$ each.

I think you should up your prices, though. xD To maybe 10$ earrings and 15$+ necklaces? Unless you're using cheap craft store stuff, it's bound to rack up the bills.

Thanks for the input! I buy my hooks and rods for $6 a packet, but they have at least 100 rods and 50 or more hooks, and the beads don't cost me too much, so I figured that $5 was a good deal. I want my stuff to be affordable to everyone, because I know how it is trying to buy earrings that cost freakin $28495926 a pair. I do make money off of them, though. But as I said, I'm not interested in the money because I just spend it on more beads and stuff lol :P
