Well, I really like General Quarters, just because of his trainer/owner. :D I saw his story on the news and was going "Awww. I want him to win. ;~;" simply because that guy seems like a nice old man. xD He drives a simple ol' truck and does everything himself. Really pretty horse, as well.

So, I'll be rootin' for him. :)

What really bugs me, is the whole 'We are doing EVERYTHING we possibly can, to stop injuries!'. When really, they don't do a damn thing. They need to use the horses' REAL birthdays to say how old they are. Not the 'January 1st is everyone's birthday' thing. That's why there are so many injured horses. It's why the break down so easily. They're being raced way too young.

It makes me angry. :x

Ya i agree. I really want to go to kentucky and work with the racehorses after college. I would do anything, muck stalls, be an exercize rider, hell id even brush all the horses, do all the daily chores and everything.

Idk i have a standardbred and i hate the way they say "its safe rlly!!!" when they havent done shit about the safety of the horses.
