That's mixed information. And I think it sounds joking-ish too. x: Tough, if it's not, you can rather ignore it until he decides to crush on someone else or be sensible about it and give him the im-so-sorry-you're-great-but-i-dunn-love-you talk. But yes, doesn't sound serious enough.

Even if he wasn't joking, there are about a million things that could mean, and not necessarily all involving having a crush on you either. If you're so worried about it, why not just ask him what he meant?

In my experience, teenage boys say dumb stuff like that all the time. Especially over the internet. Plenty of guys make flirtatious comments with no intent of doing anything about it.

In short: Don't worry. Wait until he makes a real move until you start to worry about him having a crush.
