Here is the explaination of this: "A TIA is a "warning stroke" or "mini-stroke" that produces stroke-like symptoms but no lasting damage. Recognizing and treating TIAs can reduce your risk of a major stroke."
I have no idea what to do now, my doctor said to take Asprin, bu still it's really scary! Can anyone give me any advice? Have you experienced this and what did you do?
I was in the hospital all night and today I am basically stuck on bed rest...
Do exactly what your doctor tells you to do. And, keep resting.
It sounds like the best thing you can do is like everyone else said, just remain calm and let the doctors do what they think needs to be done, they'll take good care of you. <3
I was starting to have heart problems from an eating disorder I had been suffering from for seven years, and it is terrifying to have problems like that 40-50 years before you should have to worry about anything like that.
You j ust have to stay calm, relax and let your body take care of it. You would be amazed by what we can survive. :)

Thanks guys! Very helpful, I go in for another appointment tomorrow, and hopefully they will be able to tell me why.
Good luck. :)
Until then just take it easy sweetie. They'll find out what's wrong and take care of it.

Seriously, take asprin. It works as a blood thiner. And as stupid as it sounds, make sure you drink lots of water, and (once your off bed rest) stay active. Long periods of inactivity can cause clots to form in the lower legs, that then become dislodged and migrate to the lungs, heart or brain. Flexing/tensing and untensing muscles, and streaching can help keep large clots from forming.
Good luck!
